SMS Opt-In & Consent

CogsHelper is a software service operated by 1134 Digital LLC that helps independent record shops manage their inventory, listings, and customer relationships. As part of that service, CogsHelper sends SMS text messages on behalf of record shops to customers who have explicitly opted in to receive them.

What messages you may receive

If you opt in at a participating record shop, you may receive SMS messages about:

New arrivals and restocks at the shop
Sales, special offers, and in-store events
Store updates and announcements
Loyalty rewards, store credit, and order-related notices

How you opt in

Opt-in is always express and explicit. You provide your mobile number to a participating record shop — at checkout, on a paper signup, on the shop's website, or in person — and you affirmatively agree to receive SMS messages by checking a box, signing a form, or replying to a confirmation message. We do not send marketing SMS to anyone who has not actively opted in.

Providing your number and consenting to SMS is never a condition of purchase. You can buy from the shop without opting in.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You'll receive a single confirmation that you've been removed, and you will not receive further marketing SMS from that shop's program.

Reply HELP at any time for support information, including how to reach the shop and how to reach CogsHelper.

You can also email support@cogshelper.com to be removed from all CogsHelper-operated SMS programs.

Your consent and your data

Your mobile number and your consent to receive SMS are used only to deliver the messages described above on behalf of the shop you signed up with.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing. Your number is passed only to the SMS carrier (Twilio) and its underlying telecom providers for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you've signed up for. Use of CogsHelper's services — by shops or by their customers — is also governed by our Terms of Service.

Who's sending the messages

Messages are delivered by CogsHelper (1134 Digital LLC) on behalf of the record shop you opted in with. The shop is the brand and the source of the content; CogsHelper is the technical sender.
